A PUPPY was rescued by fire crews on Monday evening after falling down a quarry face onto a ledge along the A386 at Tavistock.
The seven-month-old spaniel had fallen approximately 15 metres down the quarry face. A crew from Tavistock with the Specialist Rescue Team from Camels Head set up lighting and an attendant from the team was lowered to rescue the dog, who was then handed safely back to the owner.
