TAVISTOCK Methodist Church is serving soup to support food projects around the world through Christian Aid.
Tomorrow (Friday), the church is hosting one of the 'Super Soup' lunches which are being held across the country during Lent.
Lunch will be served in the lower hall of the church in Chapel Street from noon to 2pm. Donations are invited to support Christian Aid's vision of ending poverty. An example of this is in Tajikistan, where the charity funds the Youth Eco Centre to train communities in sustainable food growing and energy production.
