OKEHAMPTON continued their challenge for the Exeter Sunday Youth League title with another solid win.
Within a few minutes from the kick-off Okehampton took advantage of a free kick.
William Searle crossed the ball into the penalty area and Paul Gent passed the ball to Harry Smith who scored his first goal of the morning.
Bradley Ausden also opened his score sheet as Okehampton continued to dominate the game's opening minutes.
Paul Gent made a superb accurate pass up the line to Bradley Ausden who finished with long shot which found the net with equal accuracy.
Okehampton continued their hold on the game with several more shots on goal with William Searle coming the closest with his shot hitting the goal post. Despite Exmouth being awarded three consecutive corners in the final minutes of the first half they were unable to score.
Okehampton returned to the field determined to add more goals to their tally.
Bradley Ausden began the second half running around the Exmouth goalkeeper and only their defender prevented another goal by kicking the ball off the line.
The pressure was really mounting on Exmouth as a series of shots on goal from Bradley Ausden and Harry Smith were only kept out by the post.
Despite the pressure they were unable find the back of the net.
Exmouth began to battle their way back into the game with a shot that went just over the crossbar.
Exmouth were awarded a free kick but Okehampton turned this to their advantage with excellent play from Jacob Ayris who passed the ball to Bradley Ausden who scored his hatrick. Okehampton were leading 4-0 when Exmouth scored their only goal of the morning.
Okehampton came back with four more goals, the first being Kyle Kenneally with a well taken long shot.
William Searle scored next with Exmouth allowing him plenty of time to place the ball with a powerful shot which left the goalkeeper no chance.
Harry Smith pounced on a loose ball and scored his second.
Okehampton were awarded a free kick which was passed down the line by Bradley Ausden to Harry Smith who chipped over the goalkeepers head for his hatrick.
