A FUNDRAISER in aid of a youth project based in Bere Alston is being held on Tuesday, November 3 in the Olde Plough, Bere Ferrers, at 7.30 pm.

Youth 2 Youth (Y2Y) provides young people with opportunities to help them make positive decisions but there is a need to raise funds to continue with the project, which also includes the services of a part-time paid youth worker Jen Potts.

Y2Y has been offered a matching donation by an anonymous donor. All funds donated by individuals or received from fundraising activities will be matched pound for pound — so for every £1 raised by Y2Y the donor will donate an additional £1, up to £2,000.

Tickets for the fundraising event will cost £10 and will include sausage and mash, optional vegetarian sausages, and includes games led by Marcel Kelly, followed by musical entertainment.

All profits from sales of bottles of wine will be donated to Y2Y and all funds raised will be matched by the donor.

Tickets are available from The Olde Plough, Margaret Willmott in Bere Ferrers, Jen Potts at The Hut and The Pharmacy in Bere Alston.
