SLIMMING World manager Kay Tanner received an extra special hug from a cheeky charmer at the annual Slimming World awards ceremony in Birmingham. The Tavistock manager received a hug from Bradley Walsh, known as Danny Baldwin in ITV soap Coronation Street, at the event where guests celebrated the achievements of award winning slimmers from all corners of the UK. Bradley Walsh co-hosted the event alongside Slimming World?s founder and chairman Margaret Miles-Bramwell. He said: ?It was an honour to help these special slimmers and their Slimming World consultants celebrate their achievements with an evening they?ll never forget. ?The courage and determination these slimmers have shown to be where they are today is truly amazing.? Kay said meeting Bradley topped off another ?fantastic? year ? and hoped next year would be just as good for slimmers. She added: ?New Year resolutions often crumble at the first hurdle, but making a positive lifestyle change for a healthier you in 2006 need not be too much of a struggle. With the support of a group of people you are more likely to succeed.? From January, families, children, students and senior citizens can enjoy reduced membership rates at Slimming World.
