THE Ottery Press winter photograph competition winners were announced recently and the amateur photographers will now get to see their images turned into Christmas cards.

Ottery Press asked Times photographer James Bird to judge the entries, and Isabel Porteous from Northlew was chosen as the overall winner with her photograph 'Snowy Gateways'.

The Times sponsored the competition and general manager Lyn Roberts presented Isabel with a framed print of her winning image.
