Tavistock Primary School youngsters participated in the key stage 2 sports day this week ? with the green team ending the day the final victors.

The youngsters took part in a wide variety of sports, including team games and individual events, cheered on by their classmates.

Headteacher Joe Flynn congratulated everyone on their participation and excellent behaviour during the day.

?The organisation was superb, thanks to teacher Simon Beatty and the other staff involved ? it was a brilliant event,? he said.

The green team?s victory means an end to the red team?s place at the head of the table ? which has won key stage 2 sports day for the last three years.
