MEMBERS of Hatherleigh Youth Football were delighted to have been presented with a cheque from Waitrose recently.

A sum of £260 was given to the team by Okehampton Waitrose from the Waitrose Community Matters Scheme.

The money will be used towards buying new football kits for the club.

Hatherleigh Youth Football trains on Sunday mornings at Hatherleigh's football pitch from 10am to noon. The group coaches boys and girls from age four (who are at school) up to 12, and has under 11s and under 12s teams playing in the North Devon Youth League this season.
