KELLY College's GCSE Product Design students put their work on show at the College's recent annual exhibition.
A striking feature of this year's event was the variety of work that was on show. Illustrating the creativity and expertise of this year's students was the number of different products that had been produced. These ranged from items of furniture such as tables, chairs and desks, to more delicate creations like clocks and mirrors.
Furthering the diversity of the show was the range of materials that were used —glass, steel and fabric were all used in creative and innovative ways.
Kelly College's Product Design department has thrived in recent years with the staff and students receiving recognition and praise for both its GCSE and A Level course.
Most recently, the department was placed 28th out of 1,430 schools on the Good Schools Guide website at A Level for boys taking Product Design.
Other achievements for the department have included winning the Good Schools Guide Award for three years for being the highest achieving English independent school on a point score basis for boys taking GCSE Product Design.
Students have also seen success in the department, previously winning the Education Engineering Scheme for the South West Region.
