A SKILLS weekend is being held in Princetown later this year, aimed at helping people enjoy safer walking on Dartmoor.
The weekend, held at the Plume of Feathers, is being organised by Dartmoor Rescue Group.
The two-day course is aimed at walkers with all levels of experience in navigation, map work and first aid. Two walks will be included, one of which will be after dark. Accommodation can be provided at the Plume of Feathers bunkhouse or those on the course can attend on a daily basis.
The cost of the course on November 23/24 is £25 without accommodation, £30 with accommodation.
