TRADITIONAL entertainment was enjoyed by many at the sixth Dartmoor Evening in Peter Tavy.

The event held at Peter Tavy Village Hall proved successful, raising £460 to divide between ShelterBox and the Chestnut Appeal.

The evening included a range of traditional entertainment with a Dartmoor theme, including songs, music, recitations, readings and a short play.

Visitors also enjoyed a pasty supper and scones with jam and cream.

The village hall committee expressed thanks to the performers for giving their time, and to the audience for their help in raising funds for the two charities.
