BERE ground out their sixth win on the trot with a battling performance against Garrison Club, a team that has already beaten them twice this season. Bere were all over the visitors and were looking dangerous when attacking.

Bere were peppering the Garrison goal, but Garrison were saved by their on-form keeper.

After numerous chances, Charlie Hone unleashed a rocket from the edge of the area, which evaded the stretching keeper and nested in the net. Tossie Hann failed to extend the lead as he squandered a one-on-one with the keeper by lashing it wide.

The second half saw Garrison come out looking threatening, but with the partnership of Pratt and Kingdom, who is playing his last games before suspension, looking strong, Bere knew they were safe.

Bere?s second goal was started by keeper Montgomery, who sent it forward to Liddicott. Right wing Tom Liddicott wiped in a cross that centre forward Hone latched on to.

Garrison did not settle and were pushing forward well. The sprightly Garrison striker only had to pick his spot. Bere battled well to win a vital sixth win on the bounce.
