RECENTLY there has been much criticism of the NHS and I would like to redress the balance a little.
I recently had two outpatient appointments at the Tavistock Hospital — originally two hours apart. Not only was I treated with care, courtesy and efficiency, but the reception staff were able to juggle my appointments so that I was in and out of the hospital in less than half and hour.
Having met with long delays and less than courteous attention at larger hospitals it was a revelation and a pleasure to be treated so well at Tavistock. Many, many thanks.
