SINGING is the best way to chase away the difficulties of the day and make you feel full of the joys of spring.

So says Joanna Wren, the founder and leader of Patchwork, not the sort that grandma used to stitch, but the sort where you have a good time singing in harmony with others.

You don?t need to read music or sing on your own; there are no auditions and everyone is welcome to come to the Tuesday sessions which start again on September 14 at the Kingdon House Community Centre, opposite the Ordulph Arms in Tavistock.

The Patchworkers are a friendly group who enjoy a laugh while they learn songs in three and four part harmony.

It you have been told you can?t sing but you?d like to prove you can, why not come and give it a try?

For more information talk to Joanna on 01822 853539, or just come along on any Tuesday.
