A SIGNED silver notepad donated by West Devon resident TV celebrity Noel Edmonds is among dozens of items being auctioned tomorrow (Friday) to raise money for a play area for a group of Tavistock tots.
Tavistock Community Pre-School, which is based at the Alexander Centre in Plymouth Road, is hoping the auction will boost its funds to provide a stimulating outside play area for the young children who attend the pre-school.
Jan Montague, chairman of the group, said: ?We just wrote to Noel on the off chance and were delighted to receive his donation.
?Everyone who we have approached has been extremely generous.?
Other items up for auction include a signed Plymouth Argyle FC pennant; a river cruise; National Trust passes; tickets to Mega Bowl; golf lessons; a hairdressing voucher; family meals for two at a local restaurant; a babysitting service; horseriding lessons nad meat vouchers from a local butcher.
The auction will be at the Union Inn in Tavistock at 7pm, with viewing from 6.30pm.
