?NO waiting at any time? signs are being removed from the streets of West Devon following national changes to the Traffic Signs Regulations.

The changes came into effect at the end of January. Among the many changes, ?No waiting at any time? signs are no longer required to be used with double yellow lines.

A Devon County Council spokesman said less road signs cluttering the pavement would benefit pedestrians, particularly those with mobility problems.

?It will also bring about environmental improvements to our towns and villages and a reduction in highway maintenance costs,? he said.
