PHOTOGRAPHER Adrian Oakes will be at Castle Drago on Sunday to sign copies of his book 'Dartmoor: A Winter's Tale.'

He will be at the National Trust property's new shop from 11am to 4pm.

Adrian is a local landscape photographer who has specialised in capturing images of Dartmoor's diverse landscape and rich history.

'Dartmoor: A Winter's Tale' benefited greatly from the severe weather conditions which affected the area in February — several feet of snow fell in a matter of hours, blanketing the moor and effectively cutting off communities and farms from the outside world. This provided clear and bright conditions, perfect for Adrian's winter photographs.
