A?CALLINGTON?woman is spearheading an event to get people signed up to the stem cell donor register to help save lives.

Lucy Clark has organised a donor registration event, taking place later this month, after following the plight of a little girl with Leukaemia, who lost her battle with the cancer last year.

With less than 1.5% of people in the UK registered on the donor list, Lucy is hoping to do her bit to help increase that number.
