STAFF at Okehampton Hospital welcomed their first newborn of 2012 on Monday January 2.

Sienna Holly Smith was born at 11.34pm to Philip Smith and Hannah Maunder, weighing 8lbs and 8oz.

Sienna is Philip and Hannah's second child.

Philip and Hannah expressed thanks to Odette and all the staff in the maternity unit who helped deliver Sienna.
