Ivybridge U15s 15 Okehampton U15s 5 WITH poor tactical kicking by Okehampton and after a series of penalties, Ivybridge scored a converted try. In the second half the forwards controlled the ball better. After a period of forward pressure scrum-half Richard Friend passed to Rory Honeychurch. He made a quick pass to Carl Poynton who passed to wing Carl Goodall, who scored out wide with the defender still hanging on! Ivybridge then scored again and kicked a penalty. Ivybridge tackled well and came back with two good tries. Kyler Burns glided through the centre after showing a dummy and scored another out wide using his change of pace. Ivybridge had a good defence team holding Okehampton back during the first half of the match with the score being very close at 5-3. During the second half Okehampton pulled forward getting through their defence. With good tagging and defending of their own back line, Okehampton won the match on the final whistle.
