THE annual Okehampton Show dinner took place earlier this month.

The dinner offers those who organise the show the chance to reflect on the successes of this year's event, and look at ways to keep improving the show.

At the dinner, held at Okehampton Golf Club on November 4, Janet Trerise, the wife of this year's show president Hugh Trerise, presented Ken Heard with one of the cups in the sheep classes, as the show schedule was too hectic to present it on the day.

Janet was accompanied by her son Martin, as Hugh was unable to attend.
