AN open meeting is being held for anyone interested in getting involved in a project to re-instate the mural on the blank wall at Taylor Square in Tavistock.

The meeting, hosted by West Devon Borough Council, aims to discuss painting a feature on the blank facade at Taylor Square, to help attract visitors and customers to this part of the town centre.

In 1988, a picture of Drake's Galleon, the Golden Hind, was painted on the wall and then later removed.

Do you think Drake's galleon should be re-instated? Or do you have a fresh, new idea for a mural?

The council welcomes any feedback on the project and is encouraging more people to get involved.

The meeting will take place at 5.30pm on Friday March 6 in the Council House at Kilworthy Park, Tavistock.
