Ordulph Arms 8

Morley Rangers 1

ROSS Sherrell, making his first start of the season, opened the scoring with a fine drive from distance. Morley responded with a terrific lob from 40 yards, though this was the only time they really threatened the Ordulph goal.

Making his debut for Ordulph was Paul Cowling, who scored the second after a superb through ball by Rob Moloney. Ryan Smile, also making his debut, hit number three, firing in from close range.

The second half started as the first finished, Smile getting his second after a great pass from Sherrell. Paul Cowling added the fifth, but will be disappointed not to have scored a hat-trick after missing several chances.

Phillpotts crossed for Sherrell to claim his second with a superb header. The Ordulph were then awarded a penalty after Aggis was pulled back in the box, and with Ben Stephens suspended, James Phillpotts blasted home the resulting penalty. Sherrell claimed his hat-trick when Phillpotts squared to him to bundle in from close range.

• This result keeps the Ordulph chances of promotion alive, though they now face the the top three teams in succession.
