WHEN it comes to the sheep section, entries were literally flocking to the show with more than 1,000 entries.

Geraldine Daintree said: 'We are amazed and really delighted. We had record entries last year and this year topped that.

The sheep, from all over the South West, are high quality in all the classes and the fleece classes are as popular as ever.

'We are also pleased with the number in the junior showmanship with 39 young handlers, which is phenomenal.'
