SHEBBEAR College Kindergarten has a new addition just in time for autumn — Sandy the Scarecrow.

As part of the harvest festival and projects about autumn, children have made their own 'Silly Shape Scarecrows' and a number of the smaller ones have been used in a display in the kindergarten. The children have been investigating various fruits and vegetables and making soup as well as using the vegetables for print painting. Sandy the Scarecrow has been put to good use this week, when bulb and seed planting began in the Kindergarten garden area.

During the recent harvest festival held at the college the Kindergarten children sang a number of songs before an audience of parents and staff.
