SINCE completing the Discovery, East Cornwall runner Sharon Daw have been busy running seven races with seven personal bests. Three days after Discovery she ran the Tree Tops Five gaining 6th over all in a time of 31.47. In the Sam Penny Memorial 10k Sharon was 3rd lady beating the course record by 20 seconds in pb of 41.04. The Mad Max which saw wet muddy conditions over terrain of many descriptions saw Sharon beat many Cornish rivals coming in 2nd in a time of 47.34. The Lanson 5 two days later saw a challenging five mile in very humid conditions but undeterred Sharon won it in 33.23 ? also winning the team prize. Two days later and she was in the Killerton Canter in extremely hot conditions over yet another cross country challenging course, coming in 2nd again beating the course record. Last weekend saw Sharon run Sticker 5 on Saturday coming 6th in another pb of 32.54 in yet more humid conditions. She ran the Torbay half marathon the following morning in yet again very warm conditions and finished 5th lady over all.
