THE 'Risen' Easter celebration will be taking place again this year in Tavistock's town hall on Easter Monday. Christians from across Tavistock and the surrounding area will gather to celebrate together. There will be inspirational music and singing with a mix of traditional hymns and contemporary songs. The event is being run by Tavistock Area Christians Together (TACT), which represents the united body of churches and Christians in the Tavistock area. David Palmer, TACT chairman, said: 'We welcome you all to celebrate the good news of Easter with a time of worship and sharing with participants across the generations and the churches of Tavistock — a chance to discover the real meaning of Easter.' The event will take place from 7.30pm to 9pm. Admission is free and everyone is welcome.
