A FORMER social worker from Tavistock has appeared before Plymouth Crown Court, charged with six counts of sex attacks on young girls. Jerry Thomas Dudley last Thursday pleaded not guilty to counts of indecent assault, one count of a sexual act with a child and one count of indecency with a child between 1999 and 2005. All charges relate to girls under the age of 16. Mr Dudley, 46, was bailed to face trial at a date to be set.
