Tavistock College Y9 U14s rugby team secured victory in the West Devon seven-a-side competition following clean sheets in all three of their pool games.
Their first match against Kelly College saw them win 38-0. Kelly were overcome by the size and pace of the Tavistock College team, with Dave Milligan cruising through for several tries and four conversions.
Tavistock's second game was against Plymstock College who also had no answer to the running power of Tavistock's boys who won 44-0.
Tavistock's final pool game was against Plymouth College. Plymouth had plenty of possession but were beaten by the fast breaks of Tavistock, the final score being 33-0l.
The semi final saw Tavistock beat St Boniface College 47-5 in a tough encounter, placing them in the final against Devonport High School. In a feisty game Tavistock College triumphed 21-7.
