WEST Devon jazz and R and B group the Bad Band will be welcoming people into the fields of Crapstone this Saturday, at this year's sell out music festival, CrapFest.
The Bad Band will be opening the festival, which was created last year to raise funds for Buckland Cricket Club to build a new pavilion.
The festival has grown from an audience of 500 last year to an increased capacity of 900 this year, but tickets rapidly sold out and there is now even a waiting list of bands trying to get on the bill.
The Bad Band was formed in 2008 by saxophonist Graham Dimmock, the name originally referring to the band's lack of live experience.
Since then the group has gone from strength to strength and has played at Teignmouth Carnival, the Lydstock Festival and Meavy Oak Fair as well as holding down a popular pub residency in West Devon.
About CrapFest, Graham Dimmock said: 'When we saw the name we knew we had to be part of it. CrapFest is great, the Bad Band is great and the two names go together perfectly. It had to be!'
Other acts gracing the stage at this year's festival will be the Sound House Brass Band, Peter Crawford, Kirsten Smith, Jo Harris, XLR, Minstrel Cyclists, Unstrung Heroes, The Rising, The Avatars and Ten Zero One.
There will also be children's entertainment in the form of inflatables, the much-loved miniature steam train, face painting and Spangles the Clown.
With a selection of real ales supplied by Dartmoor Brewery, burgers and sausages from Howell's in Tavistock and the premier of the 'CrapFest Curry', the event promises to have something for everyone.
CrapFest will be taking place on Saturday from 4pm to midnight at Baron's Field, Abbey Lane, Crapstone.
Unfortunately tickets are sold out, and no tickets will be sold on the door.
