AN informal evening of a short films, made by local as well as international film-makers, will take place at Café Liaison in Tavistock this Saturday, organised by West Gate Shorts. Entry is free but donations will be welcome to cover the expenses of Okehampton Moving Pictures who are kindly providing the screen and projection. This is the last of a series currently planned to be held at Café Liaison. There will be a chance to see new films and some favourites including Guernica by Jo James, a Tavistock film maker with a really bright future. On April 30 West Gate Shorts will be screening a night of internationally acclaimed short films and some great local films including a première at Tavistock Wharf as part of the Tavistock Music and Arts Festival.
