CORNISH playwright Nick Darke's life and work will be celebrated in a performance of One Darke Night in Bere Ferrers on Friday, November 24 at 7.30pm.

The show will fuse extracts from lesser-known works with favourites such as The King of Prussia and Hell's Mouth and will feature extracts from Nick's private journals and correspondence.

This is a Villages in Action event, staged by o-region.

One Darke Night will take part in Bere Ferrers Church Hall and tickets are £7, available from 01822 840380 or 841360.
