THE seconds scored an early goal in this friendly game of hockey when Gaynor Pollard scored.

Good passing and feeding up the wing from midfield gave Sarah Barrett space to cross a ball in to the D for Robynne Honey to score.

The defence of Zoë Viggers, Nell Trotter and Janet Simmons was strong and keeper Roz Watts safeguarded the goal.

Honey managed to take a good strike on goal and it was awarded.

There was good passing from the forwards and midfield. A fantastic passing from Sarah Court and Kate Eadie gave Honey another chance at goal and she made it a hat-trick.

In the second-half Uni tried to have more possession. They had a breakthrough but a good defensive move by Nell Trotter and Janet Simmons safeguarded the goal.

Janet Simmons sent in a good cross to enable Pollard to score her second of the match.
