BERNARD Lock won the Club Championship (Challenge Cup) for the second time on finals day at Yelverton Bowling Club.

Other cup and trophy winners included two married couples, Brian and Shirley Smale won the Hamlel Shield (drawn pairs) and Maurice and Phyl Hellier won the Jean Terry Cup (mixed pairs). Val Clarke was a first time winner of the Broughton Cup (Ladies Handicap) after only playing outdoors for two years.
