FOUR scouts from Walkham Valley Scout Group were proud to be presented with Chief Scout gold awards at Walkhampton Village Hall.

Group scout leader Ray Butler presented the awards to Noah McDermott, Jack Davey, Adam Bruce and James Bruce.

The award is given for completing a variety of challenging tasks and is only awarded to scouts who have worked to achieve nine challenge badges, undertaking activities such as leading a camping expedition, making links with scouts across the world and taking an active part in the local community.
