FORMER Okehampton College students travelled from all over the country to celebrate the school's centenary last weekend.
Guests shared memories and enjoyed browsing stalls, as well as planting a willow tree to mark the special day.
The tree was planted with the help of BBC Radio Devon presenter and former college student Matt Woodley, and was the first of five to be planted for the celebration.
Visitors enjoyed a welly throwing contest, raffle, blind hook-a-duck games and a stall for Grow your own Future at the event, which raised more than £300.
The money will go towards sponsoring its partnership school in South Africa and to help bring students over.
Visitors browsed a memory room where old memorabilia and a slide show was available and enterprise tutor groups also had their own cake stall.
The day was particularly special for one former student, who travelled down from London especially for the celebrations.
Ron Goodenough, 81, was the oldest ex-student to attend the event and enjoyed seeing how the college had changed from 60 years ago.
Head of house Wendy Lovett, said: 'There was loads for everyone to see and it was good to see people who'd travelled from all around — one couple had come as far as Portugal to be there.
'It was the first time a lot of people had come back to see the college and it was so nice for them to relay all their memories.
'It really was a beautiful day and a lovely atmosphere among the young and old.'
