THE girls from Mount House shared the honours in their three hockey matches with St Peter's Lympstone, with each school winning one match and the third ending in a draw.

Mount House made a great start in the Under 13s clash, scoring two early goals. Mount House maintained their lead until the second half, but then conceded two goals from two great crosses by the visitors, and in the end a 2-2 draw was a fair result. A special mention goes to Tean Choroszewska, who despite playing up an age level, made fine tackles and distributed the ball well.

The Mount House Under-12s were unlucky not to come away with at least a draw in their away match, but their fitness let them down in the second half and they were too slow getting back to defend the opposition's breakaways. Mount House goals came from Lucy Massey and Issy Cox. There were signs of better things to come with fine performances from Ella Woolcock and Lucy Massey.

The Under 10s secured a win through a fantastic effort by this exciting young side. Outstanding in the victory were captain Emma Manton and Jessica Huntington, whose attacking play was always a threat. These two girls scored the goals in the 2-1 win. At the other end, Sophie Donne played an equally important role in goal.
