YEAR 4 pupils at Kelly College Prep enjoyed a busy and exciting day linked to their studies on Hinduism in RE and India in Geography recently.

They wore some stunning Indian costumes and learnt about traditional forms of clothing.

They sampled different Indian foods and the kitchen kindly laid on Indian lunch for the whole school.

After a quiz on traditional and modern styles of Indian music they practised some dance moves, handled artifacts to learn about puja (worship), and listened to a story about Chembakolli village.

They also painted mehndi hands and made rangoli collage patterns.
