THE first edition of a collection of creative writing by the pupils at Mount House School has sold out on the day of publication.
The volume is a celebration of the imagination and talent of the 221 children who contributed, and gives a glimpse into their passions and interests.
The book entitled 'We Are Writers' was co-ordinated and edited by English teacher Lizzie Harris, and published by Scholastic UK, who have been running annual book fairs at the school for some years.
At the fairs, the pupils have the opportunity to choose books from a wide selection for study and leisure reading, and the support received in return from Scholastic UK is used to extend the range of books available through the school's library.
