TAVISTOCK Inner Wheel Club will be in the Christmas spirit when they man a stall at the town's Dickensian Evening tomorrow (Friday).

Father Christmas and two of his elves will be there to help raise funds for the Triangle Centre, which provides support for people who receive chemotherapy treatment at Tavistock Hospital.

The festive characters will lead the lamplight parade through the town and will be based in West Street at the back of the church where Santa will be delighted to meet children during the evening.

l Tavistock Recycled Computers and Training opened on Dickensian Evening 2010 — and to to celebrate their first year, the organisation is holding an open evening on this year's Dickensian night.

Home-made mince pies and cup cakes and fruit punch will be available for everyone popping in to the shop, until 8pm. Tavistock Recycled Computers is outside the pannier market, opposite Bob's East End Café.

l Tavistock Area Support Services (TASS) will again be supporting Dickensian Evening by providing transport and full Shopmobility facilities.

If anyone requires transport from outlying areas to the event or needs the use of a mobility scooter, contact Andy at TASS on 01822 616958. The Anchorage Centre will also be open for tea and coffee on the evening.
