FATHER Christmas will be riding his 'Santamobile' to Tavistock on Friday, November 29 to join in the Dickensian Evening celebrations — and kick-start the month of collections.

The well-known 'Santamobile', organised by the Rotary Club of Tavistock, collects every year, and through the generous support of the public the rotary has been able to help a number of deserving causes throughout the year. In the following weeks the 'Santamobile' will travel around the town with Rotarians collecting money to enable the club to continue to help in the community, nationally and abroad.

Details of these collections are: Tuesday, December 3, Priory Close/Whiteacres, 5.30pm to 7.30pm; Wednesday, December 4, St Davids/Greenlands, 5.30pm to 7.30pm; Thursday, December 5, Manor Estate, 5.30pm to 7.30pm; Friday, December 6, Bedford Square, 10am to 2pm; Tuesday, December 10, Westmoor/Mohuns/Chollacott, 5.30pm to 7.30pm; Wednesday, December 11, Deer Park, 5.30pm to 7.30pm; Thursday, December 12, Bishopsmead, 5.30pm to 7.30pm; Friday, December 13, Bedford Square, 10am to 2pm; Thursday, December 17, Redmoor Close and area, 5.30pm to 7.30pm; Wednesday, December 18, Monksmead, 5.30pm to 7.30pm; Thursday, December 19, Tiddybrook, 5.30pm to 7.30pm; Friday, December 20, Bedford Square, 10am to 2pm.
