ORGANISATIONS in Okehampton in potential need of sandbags are being asked to come forward.

Okehampton Town Council has received an offer of bags and sand from West Devon Borough Council to help with flood defences. With no site in Okehampton officially listed as a flood plain, the town council is keen to find out if local organisations such as Okehampton College and sports clubs could make use of the sandbags.
