BERE put Biscovey under great pressure. Westlake and Hodgson had shots saved and were quick to counter attack. Bere were lucky when a shot came back off the crossbar.
The second half was 15 minutes in when a back-pass was miskicked by the keeper to give a Biscovey forward an easy tap-in. Two minutes later Bere?s keeper spilled a shot for another tap-in.
A Bere defender played everyone on for another easy goal. Bere rallied and went at Biscovey who desperately defended until Hodgson ran through to score.
A long ball over the top with both players racing for the ball saw the referee give Biscovey a disputed penalty. To rub salt into the wound Bere?s keeper allowed a harmless centre to elude him and a Bere defender helped the ball over the line.
