TAVISTOCK entertained Cornish side St Minver for a friendly afternoon mid-week fixture.

Batting first Tavistock scored a useful 205 for 7, with main contributions from Mark Kerswell 45, Chris Hutchins 30 and both Josh Stephens and Chris Morgan getting into the 20s.

St Minver tried hard to reach the total only falling 22 runs short in an entertaining game best bowling for Tavistock was Sam Willetts with 3-16 while C Allen top scored with 43 for the opposition.
