APRIL has seen the beginning of what will be an exciting and eventful year for the Ryu Ju Jutsu club in Tavistock.
This year martial arts events were kicked off by an excellent ju jutsu seminar conducted by one of the top class instructors in the UK, Billy Doak Shihan 7th dan Goshin Ju Jitsu.
The day was well attended with martial artists from clubs from as far as Bristol.
The atmosphere was one of great enjoyment and the four-hour long seminar, packed with excellent and effective ju jutsu techniques, flew by.
The next seminar will take place in July.
The club meets on Tuesdays between 7.30pm and 9pm. Anyone interested in joining can contact Umberto on (01822) 618952 or come to one of the classes held in the dance studio at Tavistock College.
