CONSERVATIVE C's run of good form came to an end last Thursday (November 18) at the hands of Legion, who showed what they were capable of.

Skipper Jago, standing in for Bassett, gave Conservative C the best of starts with a solid display against Wickett, while Legion skipper Stewart restored parity with a good win over Lillicrap. Grylls took Legion ahead with a win over Andrews.

Back came Conservative C with a black ball win for Ewings over Legion's Woods to take the match to a last frame decider.

Legion came out on top with a powerful display from Ryall over Neale.

Conservative A further cemented their spot at the top of the table with a comfortable win over West Devon B.

Conservative A's Cook battled out an hour-long frame with Gilchrist who was not in a mood to give anything away.

Cook eventually came out on top.

Conservative A's Lacey romped away with a win over Bath garnished with a 28 break in the process. Evans continued to impress with a 25 break which West Devon's Roger Rich never recovered from.

Conservative A's Babb made short work of lack lustre May who could only manage to produce six points in his frame.

In the final frame West Devon's John Rich took the game to Conservative A's star Carruthers, and opened up a 20 plus lead in no time.

Shocked into action, Carruthers had to produce a superb 34 clearance to end the Rich challenge and made it two 'fifers' on the trot for Conservative A.
