COMMUNITY members in Tavistock and the surrounding parishes are being offered the chance to help influence the shape and activities in the area at the TaVi Open Forum on Tuesday (June 14).

The event, hosted by Tavistock and Villages Development Forum, will include a discussion lead by David Inman on the main issues affecting rural communities, and a continued discussion, in association with the Tavistock branch of the Senior Council for Devon, of the problems facing elderly residents in Tavistock and surrounding parishes.

It is hoped that town and borough councillors and representatives of other local organisations will be present to join the discussions.

The forum will take place at the Lamerton Sports and Community Centre on Tuesday at 2pm.
