IT has been all change at Tavistock Rotary Club —Clive Fairchild has handed the baton to Trevor Williams who takes over as the president of the club for the coming year.

Mr Fairchild said the club was able to have fun and enjoy fellowship throughout the year while raising money to support charities locally, nationally and internationally.

He described a recent meeting as being a highlight of his year in office when he presented a cheque to the local charity, Make A Difference, Tavistock, and another to Myeloma UK.

He also announced that the club had received a gold award from the international aid charity ShelterBox, commemorating the club's donations for 100 ShelterBoxes.

Trevor thanked Clive for his hard work and inspired leadership throughout the year and hoped to build on the success he had achieved and carry forward the projects and schemes currently in progress as well as continuing to support local causes and be of practical help to the town.
