THE Royal Horticultural Society Garden Rosemoor is delighted to host an exhibition which will bring together more than 100 of the country?s finest artists and crafts people. The exhibition runs from March 8 to 20 and is in aid of the Great Torrington Mayor?s Appeal. Fifty per cent of the proceeds will go to local charities, North Devon Hospice and Highbridge House.

Anne Tattersall, Mayor of Torrington and marketing executive at RHS Garden Rosemoor, is thrilled with the response she has had from exhibiting artists.

?I am really excited about the quality and diversity of artists taking part. I wanted to do something a bit more dynamic than traditional fund-raising events and I am overwhelmed by the generosity of all the artists I approached to take part,? she said.

?The exhibition brings together a collection of work by highly regarded artists in the region including painters, potters, sculptors, carvers, jewellery and textile designers and photographers, many of whom have gained recognition in this country and abroad.?
