A GROUP of young swimmers at Meadowlands Leisure Pool in Tavistock were presented with their 'Master Rookie Lifeguard' certificates and badges.

Katelyn Dawe, Jessica Eales, and three brothers, David, Thomas and Joseph Carver have successfully completed the Rookie programme and gone further to achieve their Master Rookie certificate.

Their teacher, Jackie Groombridge, made the presentation.
